Rose hybridizer in the Pacific Northwest, retired.
Update: As of late 2011, I have retired from active rose breeding, and no new hybridizing was done in 2012, with plans for future work discontinued. The ornamental horticulture industry is in crisis, and roses have been the most affected by this severe contraction. It is mainly as a result of this industry collapse that I have decided to discontinue my work and pursue other interests.

In early 2009 Roger Mann's new book, Naming The Rose was published. I contributed over 30 photographs for this book. You can see it at: http://www.amazon.com/Naming-Rose-Roger-Mann/dp/1741668301/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1239564889&sr=8-1
