My background is in organic vegetable gardening, but 12 years ago I started gardening with flowers. I no longer had space to grow vegetables! In fact, I have mostly shade gardens. In those 12 years I have removed some trees and expanded some beds. I have become more interested in growing roses. I joined the ARS as well as a local rose society. I am starting the journey to becoming a consulting rosarian. I discovered this site and hope to use it regularly.
