I'm obsessed with roses. Old roses, modern roses, cold hardy roses, climbing roses. I love them all. I enjoy designing my garden, and including companions for added interest and bloom. I live in a small town just outside Minneapolis on the Minnesota River. I'm located in zone 4a. It is a challenge to find roses that have it all in this climate.

What I don't like about roses: thorns, disease, unattractive foliage, die-back.
What I do like about roses: Beauty, scent, romance, history, versatility.
