La Marne is pink and this rose is completely white.

That is true. However, this was taken in the heat of summer when it fades.

It's true. Those blossoms hang on forever and in a warm climate they do go white with age.

Thank you for the information. I have updated the rose page to indicate that the rose ages to white. .... a beautiful photo.

I believe this photo is of Pink Pet, not Morey's Pink.

You're welcome. I can see how easily this kind of mix up can occur. It isn't hard when you're uploading a bunch of photos and the names are so similar.

This is not Pink Pet which has a bit of a button eye and more quilled petals. The growth habit is also totally different. This is the rose that was sold to me by RU as Morey's Pink.

Someone has submitted a photo of Prairie Sunrise that I took some time ago and is submitted by me on the same page. Please check dates of submission for verification. I have 2 photos of that rose I submitted and it's the one with multiple blooms. I have the original on CD from my camera for proof of authorship. I received an email today thru HMF alerting me to this.

Kaye,
We will research this issue and let you know what we find. Please note the duplicate photo will remain online while we contact the other party so we can reference it. Your photo obviously predates the duplicate so proving ownership is not an issue. Please also note there is always the possibility of system/software error on our part.
