Hi Cliff, Could you tell me anything about your rose "Jolly Danse"? Do you know of any suppliers in the US? Thank you, Alida

I just saw your question, Alida. I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that I can't add anything to the information already posted here on HelpMeFind. I've had Jolly Dance for less than a year, having imported it as a bare root plant from Lens in Belgium. To my knowledge, it is not yet available in North America.

Cliff I would love to correspond with you privately about your imports and any possible trades. I have imported from Beals, Guillot and Andre Eve and France.
Thanks
Rozanna

While I appreciate the interest, Rozanna, I am restricted from taking cuttings of or removing plants from the quarantine area for a period of two years from the date of arrival. The first few varieties that I imported to test out the import process will be coming up on two years in March, but the first serious shipment won't reach two years until the end of 2005. Most of the roses now in quarantine will have to remain there until 2006 or 2007.

Alida,
You might want to read Cliff's Ezine (APR 2005) article about importing roses.

This rose has been one of the most continous bloomers I have. From Early spring and still covered with blooms. Certainly not a once bloomer for me.

This picture was taken on October 6, 2005. This was listed as spring blooming only when it bought it. It appears to like to bloom in the fall also. The best hybrid perpetual I have found for my climate.
