I really cannot detect ANY fragrance at all on this rose. How can some people rate it's fragrance "excellent"?

I can think of at least two possibilities. The most likely is that your nose is different from other noses...which is normal. Others can smell it, you cannot. Another, more remote, possibility is that your "Darlow's Enigma" is misidentified.

I wouldn't think it was mislabelled as I got it from a reputable Rose grower...(Heirloom Roses). Maybe my nose is broke! : )
