Hello Carol and Terry,

I just got back from your nursery and had an amazing time with my family browsing through your store and back yard :) Yep it’s not every day that someone lets guess into your back yard and look through personal garden! My girl’s eyes lit up as they walked into the east wing section and both proclaiming to one day own something that beautiful. As we made our way walking the trails I found rose after rose that I've only been able to read about but could never locate, with each corner I turned there was another rose to take in for the first time! We stopped and review flowers that had wild colors, shapes, sizes, fragrances, foliage, you've created a "Green bluff of flowers" and it was inspiring to say the least.

Near the end my girls asked one of the employees; "the people here are so friendly you give us free popcorn, let us feed the chickens, look through this garden is there anything we can do for you"? She look at me and at that I said can they pull out some of the weeds in the trail walkway and toss them into that bucket. At that my girls and I cleared the most obvious out one we could find on the way out, another group of on looks noticed and said that is a good idea and pulled a few as they walked on. It was a great day and I and my family would like to say thank you, the Goncalves…

Warm Regards

Northland Rosarium: do you have any rabbit-proof roses that you would recommend? Thank you. I'm looking out the window, and rabbits are eating my FlowerCarpet Coral and Blue Mist (very prickly). The neighbor visited me today, and she said rabbits ate her Knock-outs too.

Straw: have you thought of spraying them with chilli? Shouldn't harm the foliage, and might put the rabbits off.

I don't believe there are roses that are rabbit proof, however you can use a product that will repell or deter them from eating your rose bush. Liquid Fence makes a product I have heard from customers that works well.
