Done anyone have success with Conrad Ferdinand Meyer in Zone 5 midwest (Kansas)?
What is the true zone hardiness of Conrad Ferdinand Meyer?
Rogue Valley Roses lists it as zone 4
The Antique Rose Emporium as zone 5
Hortico as zone 4
Help Me Find as zone 6 or higher.
I would love to grow this rose as a hedge in my zone 5 East Central Kansas location...anyone have success with it in a cold, windy zone like mine?
Thank you for any replies, Janice.

Janice sounds like you're not too far from me. i'm south of kc about 70 mile and 8 miles from ks line.
I just planted 3 bands this april, haven't wintered yet. I'm in very windy, open plains. this summer they done well through heat. they are very vigorous and are taller than any other of the 100 or so bands i planted this spring. they are so far my favorite, maybe because they are so vigorous and extremely fragrant.
