This rose grows well for me in zone 8. I have it in a large pot with medium sun exposure. Disease is not much of a problem. The color is a very rare true lilac and the yellow stamens contrast beautifully. The blossoms are about 2" across and really catch the eye. Wish it were more commercially produced.

This is such a pretty rose I don't know why it's not more popular. The lilac color cotrasts so beautifully with the large stamens everyone comments on this rose. I am in zone 8 and it grows quite well for me. Disease is not much of a problem. Currently growing in very large pot with medium sun exposure.
