Produces hips. One OP seedling so far. Smaller in diameter and more petals than Rouletii.

I have added your comments to the main page. Your photo seems to be a little mottled. Has anyone considered Bicolor (lawrenciana, Laffay, 1836) or Jenny (Lawrencia, Unknown, 1836)

How did your OP seedling turn out? And did ever get anymore from Abbot and Burns?

Joe; I was unable to raise it to maturity. I've had several micro type seedlings, but have found them hard to keep alive. One little mistake with water and disaster. Stephen

In May 2025 all remaining roses on the property are to be removed by the current owners. Sic transit gloria mundi.

The world beat a well trodden path to Renmark to see that wonderful garden. I went three times and those visits remain the highlight of my intense interest in old roses. Renmark will be the poorer for we will never travel to see a lucerne paddock. My deep thanks go to you Margaret, Pat and all the other rosarians who have made those many long trips up to Renmark to record, prune, plant and deposit and collect budwood over the years.

Is this rose still available anywhere here in Europe? From the description page on this site, it appears that at least it was sold in Germany and Switzerland, but on the "buy from " page no European nurseries are listed.

Would you like to email Kordes and enquire? Please let us know. This is possibly an example of a nursery missing out on a sale because they are not listing their roses on HelpMeFind.

It seems to me that Hot Pants (Floribunda. Horner, 2011) HORjones Breeder shown as Heather Horner, might be the same rose as Beverly-Ann HORcojones Colin Horner 2000 ?

Certainly looks like the same rose on Ludwig's catalog site. At least the photos. Ludwig's always has wacky dimensions, so those can be ignored. No way to prove this though, but good to note it.

The reference for 'Beverly Ann' in the Australian Rose Annual of 2010 states that the Breeder code is HORjones, i.e. the same as 'Hot Pants'. The code HORcojones in Modern Roses 12 seems to me to be a sick joke. There is also a photo of 'Beverly Ann' in Modern Roses 12. According to the listing in the Australian Rose Annual, the breeder is Colin Horner, however the rose was introduced posthumously as 'Beverly Ann' by Horner family members.
