Rose

Gallica / Provins, Hybrid China.  Red, violet shading, ages to violet .  Strong fragrance.  Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), button-eye, expanded bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  USDA zone 4b through 9a.  
Height: 3' to 7' (90 to 215cm).  Width: 3' to 39" (90 to 100cm). Pierre Jean Louis Roëser (1829).

Found Rose, Damask, Moss.  Pink.  Hot pink to almost lavender. Lighter pink splotches pink onpetals. Some spots have dark centers. Reverse paler pink but still visible spots. Inner petals have deep central notch; a rib of yellow, white or green runs from the notch to petal base..  Strong, apple, honeysuckle, moss or woody, rose fragrance.  Small to medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters, flat bloom form.  Moderate, once-blooming spring or summer.  USDA zone 5b and warmer.  Height of 18" (45 cm).

Damask Perpetual, Portland.  Deep pink to red, white mottling.  Mild fragrance.  Large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).

Hybrid Tea.  Cream, pink edges, crimson shading, yellow undertones.  Iris fragrance.  Mild to strong, raspberry, tea fragrance.  Very large, very full (41+ petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  USDA zone 6b through 10b.
