My mother had a degree in hort. and was always an avid gardner. I am close to retirement and have gotten the 'rose bug'.
One of my all time favorites (of hers) was Pristine and now I have one plant also. I am just beginning to put in new beds for roses and I think I would like to try hybridizing. My question is, why did you discard White Wine?
I found this when I was researching Pristine's babies. Both the plant I have now and my mother's (which I gave to her as a present 25 years ago) have and had the most beautiful folliage. This will be something that I will strive for. The photo of White Wine is gorgeous. What was wrong with this rose?
John, Thank you for all that you do to make Help Me Find the great site that it is. I appreciate all of your beautiful photos & wish all of the hybridizers would follow your lead & upload their rose creations.
HelpMeFind is the premier rose site on the internet. I feel lucky to have such a wonderful resource available and I'm happy to support them in any way I can.
I think I speak for hybridizers and rosarians everywhere when I say HMF is an invaluable resource never available before and we all appreciate your dedication and time helping everyone who loves roses.
I am very interested in your roses. How would I find a way to purchase some? I really liked "Robyn". I am delighted I found you on HMF. This has been an invaluable resource for me over the years since I found it!
Thanks for your kind comments. We are all lucky to have a site as nice as HMF to use and enjoy. I hope more people will post pictures of their roses. It's so nice to see so many different roses.
