[From American Peony Society Bulletin, March 2002:] Heinz Klose 1926-2001...Born August 29th, 1926 in Waldenburg, Schlesien (today Poland) ...got in contact with peonies in the nursery Goos & Koenemann...In 1960 he settled down with his wife Rosi at Lohfelden where both founded a perennial nursery.
