Rosa Arabica, flore simplici, purpureo et albo. Diese Rose stammt aus dem reichen Arabien, ist längst in Brabant, Holland und Frankreich bekannt - jedoch bei Uns nicht oft anzutreffen. Ihre Gestalt ist, wie die Rosa cutea Anglica. Die Blume ist einfach, an Größe der Provinz-Rose gleich, und hat zwei Hauptfarben, als die purpur und weisse durcheinander schattiert. Sie stehet gar schön, wenn sie blühet welches im Junius oder Julius geschieht. Der Geruch dieser Rose, hat mit jenem der Rosa cinamomoea viel Aehnlichkeit, wiewohl etwas stärker. Ihre Blumenmenge und Blumendauer ist eben dieselbe - wie jene der Rosa cynosbatos in Amerika flore simplici; auch dergestestalt ihre Kultur

This rose comes from rich Arabia, is known in Brabant, Holland and France since a long time- but not seen often wiith us. Its habit is like Rosa cutea Anglica. The bloom is single, the size similar to the Province-Rose, and has two main colours, purple and white blended into each other. It is very beautiful when it blooms in June or July. The fragrance is very similar to Rosa cinnamomea, though somewhat stronger. Floriferousness and duration of bloom is the same as Rosa cynosbatos in America flore simplici [?], as well as its culture
