Rosa pimpinellifolia.... ɛ with elongated, glaucous styles which form a loose Cluster, hairy only at the base: R. microcarapa Besser in the Herbarium of Günther (but not R. microcarpa Lindley, ) R. melanocarpa Link En. h. berol.2.p.57, R. Besseri Tratt. Ros.2.128. About the plant Of Besser it is especially to be compared with En. pl. Volhyn. p.81. This elongation of the styles is also found in R. canina, gallica and others, and is therefore only a variety and is not suficient to establish a separate species.
