Translation:
R. flavescens Garden hybrid
Low plant, canes with few recurved prickles, acute petioles, narrow adnate stipules with open ends; 3-5 ovate or ovate-oblong, coriaceous, smooth, acute, crenated-serrated foliage, glaucescent underneath; solitary terminal bloom; peduncle and calyx purplish pubescent; sub-globose calyx tube; sepals reflexing thrice the length of the tube; lacinated inbetween; several quite large yellowish petals. Similar to R. pygmae Bieb. See De Candolle, "Prodromus", Vol. II. p. 604.
