(1883) Rosa Grevillei in bloom 1862 on 21. May; 1863 end of May; 1864 magnificent blooms beginning of May; 1870 she has buds on 10. January; 1872 she is without any foliage mid of May; 1873 she bloomed from 30. May onwards. This rose generally is well hardy in winters on the southern coast; once she froze down to the root, but produced new canes in the following spring.
