The Caroline rose is the most graceful in our possession; somewhat globular, and rarely displaying its centre. The flowers are pale red, and numerous; but stand apart on long slender stems. It is quite hardy here, though the seedling of a China rose; and came to us only second-hand from her who raised it, and in honor of whom it was named.
