In Sangerhausen we bought a rose labeled "Monte Carlo", which it is not. Our guess is Hector Deane. Unfortunately I don't know how to insert a photo here and I don't want to confuse others by uploading a pic of a might-be Hector Deane.
I would like to ask your advice how to upload a photo pertinent to my question.
Many thanks in advance Prospero
... The day we have been in Sangerhausen there were two other varieties on sale we considered to buy: Editor McFarland and Hector Deanne. For some reason we left them behind and now, as it turned out that Monte Carlo is defenitely not Monte Carlo, we are striking on the idea that the rose we have could be one of the aforesaid. Given the pics on HMF Editor McFarland seems to be unlikely on first sight. The photographs of it in Könemann and Orietta Sala (Mille rosa. Tutte le varietà della regina fiori, 1990) show a deep pink rose with some yellow shades suggesting that it might well be this variety. On the other hand the bloom also shows orange, cochineal, carmine, and salmon-pink shades and a few yellow stripes both on the inner and outer petals. The bloom exudes a strong fruity fragrance.
Leaves are glossy and quite large, prickles red in Pernetiana style, sepals quite long, stipules very tiny.
It goes without saying that it could be something different as well. Any hint and idea is most appreciated.
Kind regards Prospero and Veiti

You can call up your above post again and then you will see that there is an option to add a photo.

A couple of intangibles about 'Hector Deane'. It has a huge and very beautiful fragrance. The blooms have a certain luminosity - they really seem to glow from the other side of the garden.

Thanks a lot. We looked from the other side of the garden. You are right. And yes, even from the distance one can wallow in fragrance.
