Hi! Wondering if anyone can ID this rose. It's coming from the base of my David Austin 'Evelyn' that I've had for close to 28 years. I thought DA's use Dr. Huey or own root so this one is a mystery to me and the first year I've seen it pop up from the soil line. It is growing in a large concrete pot, same pot for as long as I've had it. Thanks in advance.

Rosa multiflora? That's a pretty common rootstock. Flowers in spring only, and looks much like that.
Varieties used for rootstock are often thornless.
