Portland Rose Society It is one of the oldest. It was formed in 1889. Membership is over 1000 Two big events: Spring Rose Show In June every year since 1988 over 2500 roses are displayed in 78 categories. Fall Rose Show in September about 1000 roses are exibited in 58 categories.
