Mayhall Rosarian: Re: Columbia (Hill '16). Dickerson quotes Thomas as stating that this rose "...scorches in heat". While his meaning of 'heat' is unclear, I would ask you two questions. Is your Columbia in all day sun, and, if so, do the blooms scorch? Thanks. Mike, Michigan

I stumbled upon this listing some time ago, and just love the variety of roses. I would be willing to make the trip from Saint Petersburg Florida just to see this garden. I guess it is probably still maintained as it has been listed here. If a tour of this garden is ever available I would love to go ... Some very rare roses that I would love to see and posibly breed with on a small scale. It would be great to name a rose after her.
