I would like to know the variety of the ground cover that is used in Luxembourg Gardnes in the area toward the back of the park near the bee hives I think. It has an oval scalloped leaf and grows maybe 6 inches in height.

I wuld like to know the variety of the purple plummed grass in the borders of the Jardin de Luxembourg this Summer of 2003. Which Pennessetum is it ? Is it Pennessetum Rubrum ?
