A strip along the side of the house, about 40 foot long by 15 foot wide (I will take a more specific measurement someday). The garden continues into the front yard in one major flower bed so far. This area is very hot in summer and arid, and the winter is mild but there is very little humidity or percipitation. There are monsoon rains however, so the possibility of killing the plants though "flooding" is always an option. For this reason when possible I have started to use raised beds. However it looks a bit make shift as of this time. I have a mix of plants, some bushes, forbs, herbs, roses, sedums, evergreens. Finding plants that are happy with this area is a primary concern. I am always troubleshooting.
