I am so happy I could help you. You better do something about the blackspot. When you have it bad I use Mancozeb. It is Manganese and Zinc. It is an organic product. That product is the only thing that will kill the blackspot sprores

Good day, I read Your reply and have to respectfully disagree on being organic of Mancozeb, in the case You would mean organic as a way of gardening.

And it is more than just Zinc and Manganese. See for instance: Wikipedia.
Where is stated that Mancozeb is a non-systemic agricultural fungicide it is a dithiocarbamate... and that is a functional group in organic chemistry. When You meant organic (carbon-based) in this way, I have to agree.

Hello JayJay
Manganese and Zinc are Earth elements. Yes they are chemicals, not man made. BUT No matter what organic thing you use IT is a chemical. Water is a chemical There are just more friendly chemicals to use.
Manzate really does a good job. I'm starting the season with an application to clean up any spores that are in my mulch!
Good luck battling blackspot
Dan

Hi Dan! You've helped me get my roses back into beautiful shape. They are all getting ready to bloom on INCREDIBLY healthy plants! So far, no disease despite all the precipitation. I'll post some photos when they bloom out :-). I'm so jazzed!
