Smurphy and Donna have it right, Zambra's photos all seem to be Tournament of Roses. There are similarity in the names. Promise has huge, absolutely giant blooms of pure, clear light pink (it was one of those monster bloom sized cultivars that the US market seemed to demand in the 70's). Promise very rarely clusters.

I agree. This looks like Tournament of Roses to me. I grow both Promise and Tournament of Roses. This is not Promise.

The rose « Poésie » is not a giant rose and correspond very likely to the rose named « Tournament of roses » in other countries.
The colours are partly strong rose et pale rose (I had one at home some time)
You can find a picture in the following swiss rose seller website :

(click on the photograph « Poésie »)
Hoping it helps…

Mountain of Roses, it seems you need to reassign (move) your photo out of
Poesie (hybrid tea, Warriner, 1976) Syn: Promise. syn: JACis
and into the file for
Poesie (grandiflora, Warriner, 1987) Syn: Berkeley Syn: Tournament of Roses Syn : JACient
Shall we do that for you?
