Beautiful rose! What garden Zone are you? I garden in Zone 5b in the Midwest part of the USA (Illinois, to be exact). I wonder if this rose is hardy...

Hello bellarosa,
I live in 8a (Southwest of Germany).
Last winter temperatures dropped to -18°C.
Mel's heritage survived.
But the summer was very, very dark, cool and moist.
And Mel's Heritage does not like moist at all
Therefore for the second time in about 10 years a very large Mel's Heritage is about to die in my garden.
Good thing I make cuttings every year.
Mel's heritage cuttings root very easily. And from now on I will only plant her in the hottest, sunniest, driest spots.
Hope this helps!
Kind regards from Germany
Janine

Hello Giannina

This rose is wonderful, it remind me Paul Transon . I read Mel's Heritage is blooming during all Summer... Is it true or it is once blooming ? Where did you buy this rose ? I don't find it even on Peter Beales site .
Thank you
Maddalena
