I did in my SOCAL garden. Unfortunately, the people taking care of my roses after I moved north did not water the plants enough, so I lost a few. This is one of the roses that didn't make the move.

What a heartbreak, Lyn, and it looks like it's out of commerce. I have my fingers crossed that I haven't run into the same problem with this and some others, even with irrigation. I hope it's surviving.

Ingrid...
You may have better luck than I did. The people who took care of my plants really did not know how to take care of container plants. All of my roses arrived very, very water stressed when they were delivered. Since they were mostly own root, I was able to save most of them. I lost only one budded rose.
I kept telling myself that they were extremely kind to offer to take care of the plants and to deliver them to me. A few lost roses really didn't matter compared to that level of kindness.

Yes, their kindness in taking care of them and delivering them, too, was extremely thoughtful and must have been a big help to you at the time. It's sad that not all of them made it, but you're fortunate that most of them did!
