Rosemantic Red in the first flush of its second season. The number of buds was astonishing.

Sept 9, 2024 in San Diego, California. We have had a week of very high heat and humidity. 108 in the shade yesterday. Most roses here fried. Am posting this group to show the ones that seemed to enjoy the hot weather.

6 September 2021, first season Rosemantic Red purchased from Palatine. This rose has been putting out very tall canes and is approximately 62 inches tall. It has bloomed non-stop. With the recent rainy weather, it has developed minor black spot on the lower leaves, but this has not impacted vigor. It is not the compact shrub that I was expecting. After strong winds, I had to prop up one of the taller canes.

23 June 2021 Plant purchased from Palatine. First season in Maryland, zone 7A.

3rd year rose grafted on multiflora growing in my zone 7 Maryland garden. I have light, sandy, acidic soil that multiflora rootstock seems to love. This is the first spring flush and is a deeper red than what I have previously seen from this rose.
