'Apricot Brandy'. (BENbra) Benardella 1996; soft apricot pink flowers; 24 reports on 42 bushes; 60cms; 7.5 rating. A healthy bush of medium height. The flowers are of good exhibition form but can ball in wet weather. Most reporters like the colour but feel that the blooms do not age well and repeat can be slowish.

'Apricot Brandy' (BENbra); Benardella 1996; soft apricot/pink; 5 reports on 11 bushes; 1-4 years; 60cm;
7.5 rating. A healthy bush of medium height. Bay of Plenty find it gives an excellent repeat and the blooms have exhibition form that last. North Harbour find their bush healthy and it flowers well. Nice shaped blooms, but they look awful when aged. North Taranaki says it has good HT form, but is slow to repeat. Manawatu say the colour is marbled and the bloom is a superior exhibition for showing. It can rain damage a bit, but they feel the rose is under-rated.

Northland nice exhibition blooms, resents rain and flowers tend to rot, colour delicate. Wellington finds the bush healthy, colour a nice creamy apricot fading to pink, nothing fantastic. Kaitaia says health and repeat good, nice colour but does not age gracefully. Manawatu reports large exhibition blooms, apricot pink, slow repeat, ages poorly. North Harbour reports downy mildew in the spring, powdery mildew in the summer, blooms lose freshness quickly.

'Apricot Brandy' (BENbar). Benardella 1996; soft apricot pink. 6 reports on 9 plants; 1-2 years; 50 cms; 7.8 rating. A good rating for this new exhibition miniature. Manawatu thinks it is headed for the bright lights, superior T form, colour waxen apricot, excellent foliage and stems, healthy, highly promising. North Harbour thinks it is promising too, flowers nice exhibition shape, colour appealing, healthy just a touch of powdery mildew. Otago thinks the foliage is rather large, had rust, lovely form and delicate colour. One to watch out for in the near future.
