Bred from 'Sexy Rexy' x 'Mem', 'Pammy' is creamy yellow with an attractive pink/red edge to the petals. This rose gained the Silver Star of the City of Palmerston North for the best NZ amateur bred rose.

p98. ibid. The Silver Star of the City of Palmerston North went to local rookie rosarian, Marilyn Tynan who was "over the moon" with her win. Marilyn's rose featured on the front cover of this Autumn's issue of the NZ Rose - very eyecatching. The parents of the rose, which is called 'Pammy', are 'Mem' x 'Sexy Rexy'. Marilyn tells me the rose changes colour with the season and certainly when I looked at it in March the yellow component was quite golden. She also said the petals are sometime more frilly at certain times of the year. Ford Roses of Palmerston North will be the agent for this delightful rose.
