This rose lasts forever in the vase. Great cut flower.

I purchased this last year from Jackson & Perkins. I've actually been very pleased with this rose. The color is definitely something different, and is very eye catching. The bush has been very vigorous with above-average disease resistance, primarily to blackspot (which I tend to have more issues with in my climate than mildew or rust). Not much fragrance, but that isn't a deal breaker for me. I also find the dusty-rose color pink once the flowers open to be very pleasing and unique vs. some of the other pink floribundas that tend to run together (there's so many!).

Update 6/22: I lied, she's a blackspot magnet. I've come close to giving her the shovel, but she outgrows the blackspot quickly...so I tend to forgive her.

Shazam is the same rose as JACjosse, for which there is a separate HMF entry. Can these two be combined?

Thank you, done. Another award-winning rose which was later commercialized identified!
