This rose has been identified by the granddaughter of Dr. Walter Dexter Brownell. She supplied the rose to the Roger Williams Park Victorian Rose Garden when it was replanted in 1999. It has been erroneously marked as 'Golden Arctic' for years. She stated that the rose wasn't patented, and from what I can tell, it wasn't registered either.
