Encino, CA November, 2010 The darker petal blotch is based upon the blue pigments, hence its intensification in ultra violet light. In direct sun or with flash, the "Halo" is visible, but in the shade, it bursts out at you.

Encino, CA November, 2010 Notice the darker central petal base "blotch". This was bred from Anytime and intensifed through selection of seedlings. Mr. Moore's goal was to breed Hulthemia traits without using Hulthemia. This was a stepping stone on his way to his Halo Roses.
