Kim Rupert was kind enough to give me one of these, and a gracious neighbor let me plant it on his property where I can still enjoy it and work with it and where it is in full sun all day.

I can't say how big it will get, as it has only been in the ground since May, but can say that it smells great and blooms more or less continously. Beetles enjoy eating its buds, which for whatever reason is a problem with all and only my rugosa hybrids, with the sad exception of 'Summer Wine.'

I did take and root a single cutting that I have growing in the pot getto not enough of a sample to say it roots easily, but enough to say that it will grow on its own roots.
