'Rosa bracteata X' rose Description

Bloom:
Light pink. Mild fragrance. Medium-large, single (4-8 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer.
Habit:
Tall, arching, armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , climbing. Glossy, medium green, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.
Growing:
Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
Breeder's notes:
Of the half-dozen or so of these seedlings that I grew, this one shows the most obvious influence from its paternal grandmother, Rosa rugosa. In addition to having relatively rugose leaflets and being well armed with thorns and prickles, this is the only seedling that has pink flowers.
