'Crispata' rose References
Book (1837) Page(s) 57. Perpetual. Crispata, or the Curled Perpetual, is one of the whimsies of nature, more curious than pretty. Each leaf is curled, and forms a ring, giving an odd appearance to the plant.
Book (1836) Page(s) section II, p.15. Damascena portlandica bifera. A feuilles crispées, beautiful, little fragrance. Pink, 2 in., quite full, plate-form. The tip of each leaf is rolled down and inwards, such that, the plant is full of small hanging rings, giving a curious look.
