Bloom:
Light yellow. Strong fragrance. 40 petals. Average diameter 5". Very large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered, reflexed bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Tall, upright, well-branched. Medium, glossy, dark green, dense, leathery foliage.
Height: 5'11" to 6'11" (180 to 210cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden. Vigorous. Disease susceptibility: very mildew resistant. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
Notes:
Carlton Rose Nursery says this rose is light yellow and seems to hold its size better than most cut-rose yellows when warm... Sierraflor, a wholesale nursery is Ecuador, sells this rose as a cut flower.
