In my zone 8 PNW garden, this rose is 7' and growing. He wants to be a monster of a rose. Only been planted 2+ years; is likely to be a very dense, thorny rose. So those of you in mild climates, make sure you have room...and good gardening gloves.
Update 5/2009: He is indeed getting huge. I have him tied to a rebar trellis; he is easily 8' tall and about 10' wide; somewhat espaliered on the trellis. Looks to be a bumper year for blooms. He and Marianne are competing to see who can take over their part of the yard the fastest!
