Japanese Peonies
Aureate (Kelsey 1938). Japanese type. A grand flower with pale pink guards. Staminodes rich butter yellow. Green carpels, red tipped. One of the clearest and best yellow centered peonies to be found in the garden. 8-inch blooms on semi-dwarf stems. Yellow does not fade in the sun.
