    Note that the 1913 reference in the 'Brisbane Courier' describes it as a sport from 'White Maman Cochet', not 'Maman Cochet'.
    I'm surprised that this rose never really caught on.

    Changed the parent. Possibly the sport was not stable and disappeared.

    I was also thinking that being a dark colour it might have been even more prone to balling in hot humid weather here than the lighter Cochets. Or perhaps it just badly scorched.
