EXCELLENT.
Bloom:
Orange-red, white reverse, golden-yellow center, golden-yellow stamens. Mild, appleblossom fragrance. 18 petals. Average diameter 2". Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to flat, open, reflexed, ruffled bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Habit:
Short, spreading. Small, semi-glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.
Height: 1' to 30" (30 to 75cm). Width: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for container rose, garden, ground cover or pillar. Hardy. vigorous. shade tolerant. Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.

Notes:
According to the New Zealand Plant Variety Rights (PVR) web page, application for a PVR Grant for this rose was made October 9, 1992 and granted September 2, 1994 (PVR Grant No. 909). The breeder's Reference for this rose is Morpapplay. The New Zealand Trade Name is 'Glowing Carpet'. This PVR Grant expires September 2, 2017. Glowing Carpet was removed from the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens (ARBG) Display Trial because its trial period expired. Heirloom Old Garden Roses says Ralph's Creeper™ is dark, orange-red with a bright yellow reverse and a golden eye... There is a retirement complex in Mt. Angel, Oregon that is landscaped almost exclusively with hundreds of bushes of 'Ralph's Creeper' and is a sight to behold...
