I have tested them all for a good many years and I believe they are all worthy of a trial in your gardens. I do not have very large stocks of them and there are not very many plants of each to be sent out this year. Shawnee Chief — Midseason cut flower, red. This has been one of the best cut flower varieties I have ever grown. It will open well from the field or cold storage. The stems are about 30 inches tall and each established plant will furnish 12 to 20 stems to cut. In the bud Shawnee Chief looks like a rose. It has never waterlogged for me. Per Division — $4.00
