"Bishop's Lodge Ernest Anderson" rose Reviews & Comments

I did some comparison photos of this rose and Cl General Macarthur at Renmark. Both roses were pink after a cold wet spring. The differences are subtle - the most convincing one is that "BL Ernest Anderson" has a larger white nub to the petal base. Both flower in clusters, but the flower stems on "BL EA" may be longer, and its stamens a darker pink.

Continuing the discussion from the "Bishop's Lodge Sydney Linton", photo-from-Cree, page.
I recall seeing "Bishop's Lodge Ernest Anderson" at Hay in November, 2003. It reminded me very much of a rose which came to me from an elderly Mrs. Gravett as 'General MacArthur Climbing', 1923. I believe my rose is correctly named.
However, at the Trevor Griffiths garden in Dunedin on December 19, 2005 I saw a 'Richmond Climbing', 1912 and was struck by the similarity of it to my 'General MacArthur Climbing'.
The references for "Bishop's Lodge Ernest Anderson" show that the HP 'Hugh Dickson' 1905 has also been considered as a possibly identification.
