'Mrs. Doreen Pike' rose References
Website/Catalog (2018) Includes photo(s). (Ausdor) Mrs. Doreen Pike 'Mrs. Doreen Pike' is a rose of modest charm. The deep pink flowers are in the form of neat, medium-sized rosettes and give the impression of mingling with the small, pale green leaves. It is very free-flowering and repeats very well - sometimes perhaps too well for its own good, so it is a good idea to take out some of the thin flowering shoots when pruning if you wish to get better quality flowers. There is a lovely, strong Old Rose fragrance. [...] Named after Doreen, who managed our offices for many years, in recognition of her contribution to the success of the Nursery.
