I think it's a very beautiful rose but could you tell me if Strawberry Hill is an excellent bloomer too?. And what about for growing it in a big pot?. Thank you very much.

DA will tell you that any of their roses can be grown in a large container. My Strawberry Hill struggled a bit in a container and does much better now that it is in the ground--though it also gets a bit more sun now. Twisting stems around an obelisk works best when the stems are young, and they're not wound too tight. A lovely rose, unique in both colour and fragrance.

I'm attempting to grow my Strawberry Hill in a large pot, twisting around an obelisk (kind of like illustrated in one of the David Austin website photos). It is heading into its second summer, and I'm finding that I'm losing some of the shoots because they break off easily due to a weak joint with the main stem. Anyone else experience this? Any advice? Thanks, and take care.
