I got my Rosenstadt Freising over 10 years ago from Palatine. In no way is this a minature. It is a regular size shrub. Very few of these pictures do it justice. It is a very beautiful and different shrub. I will post pictures of mine. it is happily growing in my Zone 9B garden.

I am curious. How does the lineage given, 'Copelia' (a floribunda) x 'Flower Carpet Pink' produce a miniature? Could someone who understands rose genetics please explain?

Another example of names not translating when re-named in another continent. Triple Treat? What is that? :D Its almost Trick or Treat, and its almost Triple Threat. Both North American terms. But Triple Treat?

At the park, the blooms look very cool, and the foliage is also very nice, but this plant has some serious issues. It grows straight up, then flops side way, while blooming in random directions.I have noticed some Kordes roses are infamous for this. Maybe because it is colder and more dry there, than other climates, it never reaches the height or hits the rain issues of other areas.

I think this name must have been inspired by the Triple Treat ice cream bar made by Street's in Australia decades ago. It had vanilla ice cream with pink marshmallow and was covered in chocolate. It was popular. The rose is missing the chocolate though haha.

I have always assumed that the triple treat refers to the three colours of red, pink and white present in the blooms..
