By mistake or intent? Whatever….. i think it would be clear if you label your photos with the “study name”. Open the photo, go into Edit, then Photo Comments, and label the rose.
A leggy arching habit and sometimes spreads out the clump in new lateral canes. The unusual habit it has, to climb up a hill like ginger when planted on a hillside. Easily roots from blooming tip when able to sink below soil line, like a raspberry. Has a defined blossom season, and is a little shy of blooms. Usually only sending about 2-3 flushes per year, which seems to be triggered by sustained warm weather. Disease resistance holds up to botrytis and blackspot even in our very rainy weather. However, some usual blackspot appears later in the season on older foliage, especially lower to the ground. Beautiful full old fashioned cabbage rose in appearance, with a very brightly colored petal which is consistent throughout. Flowers slowly open over a 3 day period, extending out the time before it blows. Usually a total of 5 days in warm weather, 6 days in cooler weather. Overall, this is a very lovely rose, and very carefree. It doesn't demand a lot of fertilizer, and still stays consistent in bloom and growth. Usually reaches up about 6-8', but with some fall pruning, can be maintained at about 5'. The fragrance is very classic damask with some slight honey undertones.
