'Forstmeisters Heim' rose Reviews & Comments
most recent 2 JAN 22
Is this rose once-blooming or does it repeat? Also, how does it do in a warm climate? I live in Italy; heat and drought are our problems, not cold.

The correct spelling is 'Forstmeisters Heim' - Geschwind was german speaking - not 'Forstmeister's Heim'.

Hello Chris, As I remember, here it´s good shrub rose, with flowers as a bourbon and habitus and foliage like setigera. Although some sources says it´s a hybrid between a Bourbon and an Alpine rose! Regards from Zvolen, Slovakia. Vlado

As is clearly stated in the reference from "Rosenzeitung" of 1900. The incorrect note is deleted, thank you!
