Deep pink, crimson shading. Strong, unpleasant fragrance. Full (26-40 petals), old-fashioned bloom form. Occasional repeat later in the season.

Medium, light green foliage.

Height: 12½' to 14'7" (380 to 445cm).

Growing:

USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Disease susceptibility: susceptible to disease.

Carl Theodor Körner (September 23, 1791 Dresden - August 26, 1813 Gadebusch), German poet and playwright. He was mortally wounded on August 17, 1813 as a member of the Lützow Freikorps fighting against troops of Württemberg allied with Napoléon.
